We collect here some forms of expression that belong to the field of computer graphics and who have similar original or novel.
The first example corresponds to an illustration accompanying an article entitled "A dozen musicians on tour this week," published in The Mercury on January 22, 2009. Use the map of Chile ("a long and narrow strip of land as a handle ...") guitar. In the case of national information and (more) tour, we can consider that the inclusion of a map was not needed at all. However, the use of analogy obviously attracts more attention to the article and becomes a powerful element in advertising.

In another case, what catches our attention is the graphics-uncommon procedure, to represent influences and to compare them in three different situations. (Source: The Mercury / Wall Street Journal, 09/06/2009).
