Mockus and elections in Colombia

Within the dynamics of modern democracy, it is assumed that each person has only his good trial to determine their support or that certain political views, however, when the trial is suspended voluntarily or involuntarily, voting is a bit to remain a sheep.

Arguably every one who votes for what he wants and if the last thing they are fixing policy proposals, it describes them as citizens, but you could argue that all that matters in politics does not policy proposals are perhaps the human and aesthetic qualities are decisive at any given time for political development. But in a country like Colombia, where poverty and exclusion are the daily bread for more than many, one would assume that the most important would be a political project that seeks to reduce poverty and educate people facing foreclosure, their consequences and implications. But Colombia refuses to recognize what is and is entertaining to try to be what he wants to be.

Overall I like the idea of \u200b\u200bAntanas Mockus renewing the country's political life, but I dread the lack of criticism to which they submit their proposals. Somehow, it has created a myth around the figure of Mockus according to which the country's problems shall be settled by him, a myth crudely similar to that created around the figure of Alvaro Uribe. I believe in the honesty of Mockus, I believe in education as a tool to solve certain social tensions, but even the best education, not work, if unemployment and poverty remain the lifestyle of many, and many others, indifferent, still thinking that the worst of Colombia's guerrillas, when the worst of Colombia's social indifference and double standards, so unhealthy Catholic.

Some of those who support the candidacy of Mockus recognize the fundamental lack of social in their approach, others say that anyone is better than Santos, and therefore it is best Mockus. Many sunflowers spread and repeat slogans, but to be consulted on political and social implications of a government of Mockus, recognized head down or looking away which "have not had time" to read his policy proposal, but that does not harangue and promote them from the candidate. Maybe that describes them as citizens, or perhaps, the least important is the proposal, moreover, what counts is hope, get on a different train to travel the same worn path of a morning that (hopefully) better. That is, do not vote for an idea, vote for a feeling, thought we vote tomorrow, where the country should go without thinking about today, where is that country, and since there que llevarlo hacia ese maƱana
